Alleluia.
1Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord;
in His commandments he delighteth greatly.
2Mighty upon earth shall be his seed;
the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Wealth and riches shall be in his house,
and his righteousness endureth forever.
4He ariseth in the darkness as a light unto the upright,
gracious, and compassionate, and righteous.
5A good man showeth favor, and lendeth;
he will guide his affairs with judgment.
6For he shall not be moved forever;
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7Of evil tidings he shall not be afraid;
his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,
till he see his desire upon his enemies.
9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor;
his righteousness endureth forever;
his horn shall be exalted in glory.
10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;
he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away;
the desire of the wicked shall perish.
and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning, both now and ever,
and unto ages of ages. Amen.
