  1. Now, praise God, it is complete:
    Singing, praying, teaching, hearing;
    God hath done all as ’twas meet,
    And we laud Him, truly fearing.
    God be praised, who here hath led us,
    Who indeed so well hath fed us.

  2. As the Service nears its end
    And to us the Blessing’s given,
    Joyful let us homeward wend,
    Walking in the way of heaven.
    May God’s Spirit ever guide us,
    And with all things well provide us.

  3. May He bless the way we tread
    And our entrance in like measure;
    May He bless our daily bread,
    May He bless our work and leisure.
    May a blessèd death be given,
    May He make us heirs of heaven.

  1. Nun Gott lob, es iſt vollbracht
    Singen, Betten, Lehren, Hören;
    Gott hat alles wohl gemacht,
    Drum laßt uns ſein Lob vermehren.
    Unſer Gott ſei hochgepreiſet,
    Daß er uns ſo wohl geſpeiſet.

  2. Weil der Gottesdienſt iſt aus,
    Und uns mitgeteilt der Segen,
    So gehn wir mit Freud nach Haus,
    Wandeln fein auf Gottes Wegen.
    Gottes Geiſt uns ferner leite
    Und uns alle wohl bereite.

  3. Unſern Ausgang ſegne Gott,
    Unſern Eingang gleichermaßen;
    Segne unſer täglich Brod,
    Segne unſer Tun und Laſſen.
    Segne uns mit ſelgem Sterben
    Und mach uns zu Himmelserben.
